Roofing Foreman

Job Summary

  • A Roofing Installer is responsible for the custom installation of roofing materials and the supervision of other crew members.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for proper installation of materials throughout all phases of the job.
  • Communication with Production Assistant about weekly install schedule.
  • Communicate with Production regarding starting & completion of jobs.
  • Supervise & motivate crew for productivity, keeping track of crew hours.
  • Maintain a worksite in compliance with OSHA standards at all times.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain assigned tools, equipment and report & correct problems.
  • Responsible for a material list for each job.  All papers & receipts are to be completed & turned in to the Production office at the conclusion of each job.
  • Unload trucks every night & return labeled stock to appropriate place in shop.
  • Return to a job site when necessary to fix or repair products previously installed.
  • Create Change Orders for any work not specifically on the contract.
  • Inform Production and Sales person about customer concerns or questions.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in the roofing industry required.

Required Skills

  • Valid driving license required and a clean driving history.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs and sometimes more than 100 lbs with assistance.

Pay

  • $23.00 to $30.00/hour based on experience and the position comes with excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, Life, Disability, 401k and paid time off.
