Window Foreman

Job Summary

  • A Lead Window Installer is responsible for window and door installation of a single job site under the guidance of the Window Technician/Supervisor and with the cooperation of a Window Installation Assistant.  They will perform routine to complex window and door installations starting with pre-arrival planning to clean up of a finished job while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee single site job installation processes and homeowner satisfaction
  • Provide flawless first time window and door installation in accordance with installation procedures.
  • Assure pre-arrival planning for materials and resources are completed.
  • Make necessary decisions about work site set up, work flow and proper installation techniques.
  • Address installation concerns with the Field Technician or Production Manager.
  • Provide direction, training, coaching and mentoring to an Installer and/or a Helper.
  • Build and sustain positive homeowner relations and assist in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Plan continual self-learning and development of skills.
  • Delegate to Installation Assistants while taking advantage of opportunities to coach and provide feedback in efforts to continually improve processes.
  • Adhere to proper safety techniques at all times while at work, on the job site and in company vehicles. 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years general carpentry experience.

Required Skills

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
  • Trade school diploma/certificate desired.
  • Two year of finishing carpentry experience and/or Three years of general carpentry experience.
  • Two years of window installation experience (Patio Doors, bays, bows, full frames & insert windows.)
  • Direct customer service and problem resolution experience.
  • Ability and willingness to coach and mentor other Installers. 


  • Our skilled installers make $60,000/year and the position comes with excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, Life, Disability, 401k and paid time off.
